BREATHE FREE 501C3

WHERE HEALING IS MADE ACCESSIBLE.

About Us

Breathe Free is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to trauma-informed wellness, emotional healing, and holistic care for communities most impacted by stress, violence, and systemic inequities.

We exist to ensure that healing is not a privilege—but a right.

Through community-centered programming, we create safe, restorative spaces where individuals can reconnect to breath, rebuild emotional resilience, and restore balance across mind, body, and spirit.

Wellness for every community.

Domestic Violence Recovery & Survivor Support

HEAL

We hold sacred space for survivors to reconnect with safety, self-trust, and inner strength. Our programs are designed to support emotional restoration, nervous system healing, and the rebuilding of identity after trauma.

Mental Health & Wellness for Black Men

PEACE

We are committed to redefining strength by creating spaces where Black men can be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Our offerings focus on emotional expression, stress relief, and mental clarity through holistic practices that honor both vulnerability and resilience. We cultivate brotherhood, restoration, and tools for long-term mental and emotional wellness.

Cultivating Mindful Youth & Family Well-Being

RISE

We nurture the next generation through mindfulness-based programs that teach emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and regulation skills early in life. Our youth and family initiatives integrate movement, breath, creativity, and mindfulness to build stronger emotional foundations at home, in schools, and in communities. We believe healed children create healed futures.

Prison & Re-Entry Wellness Programs

FREEDOM

We bring healing into correctional facilities and re-entry spaces, offering tools for transformation, accountability, and inner freedom. Our programming supports incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals through meditation, yoga, emotional alchemy, and identity rebuilding. We walk alongside individuals as they prepare to re-enter society with dignity, purpose, and renewed direction.

“We don’t just heal individuals—we restore generations..”
